Who we are
Hi! I’m Jackie!
I’m a horticulture graduate with a deep love for plants, sustainable gardening, and everything green. Based in beautiful Prescott, Arizona, I’m constantly inspired by the region’s unique climate and diverse plant life. Whether I’m experimenting with native species, designing unique landscapes, or nurturing my own garden. I find joy in helping plants—and people—thrive. My goal is to combine science and creativity to promote environmentally conscious growing practices and foster a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
Born and raised in Arizona, Rio is an artistic plant-nerd, currently pursuing an Entrepreneurial Business Management degree. She does so while planting and tending to gardens through Purpose Gardens, as well as managing the Annual & Perennial departments at a local, family-owned nursery: Watters Garden Center. When she is not working or studying, she can be found playing in her garden, cooking with her husband, or hugging her chickens/dog.
